The romper was introduced to the public in the 1900s as a clothing piece for children. In 2006 it became a women’s clothing trend. Now, in 2017 ACED are producing rompers for men called RompHims.
According to chicago.cbslocal.com the RompHim,
“Is a one-piece garment, featuring a button-up front with a shirt pocket, and adjustable waistband, a zippered back pocket, a zippered fly and two deep front pockets.”
The Kickstarter Campaign has raised $62,796, surpassing their $10,000 goal. This allows the company, based in Chicago, to start making and selling their rompers.
The four friends that created the RompHim wanted to make a piece of men’s clothing that was “unique, fashionable, cool, and very wearable.” It might be these factors that make the RompHim the next big thing.
