Regional Training Conference 2014

The Key Club members of East Career Technical Academy will be attending the Regional Training Conference(RTC) to show off what they’ve got, along with their Titan Spirit. This event will be held at Centennial High School on Saturday October 18, 2014.  It will consist of workshops of how to be part of Kiwanis & how to run for the executive board.

Throughout the day, there will also be Spirit Rally’s where each school in the Valley will be showing off their cheers and how spirited they are. Towards the end of the day, there will be an awards ceremony, where school receive the spirit stick. During the workshop sessions, each Key Club member will be separated into different groups, where they will not only meet different Key Club members from different high schools, but also build close relationships.  There are ice breakers that will be held to get the Key club members hyped up.

The Lieutenant Governor (LTG) members also talk about Fall Rally which will be held in California at Six Flags later in the year. One of the biggest events that they have for Key Club is D-Con. D-Con is an event that takes place in BloomingDale, Illinois & it is an event that is open to all Key Club members from all over the world. While attending D-Con, students will get to expand their Key Club knowledge and learn about the district projects and service endeavors.

There are many things that are talked about during RTC and its a really great opportunity for most Key Club members.
