COVID-19 Vaccines

Lopez-Laing, Lynette, Guest Writer

Many people believe that a corona virus vaccine is on the way in a month. We need vaccines to prevent any future corona virus outbreaks and stop anyone else from getting it. Scientists have said earlier this month that they can get a vaccine as early as September. However, “but a broadly used vaccine is likely to take two to three years in his “most optimistic” estimation.” Scientists create the vaccine by weakening the virus, inactivating the virus, and using a part of the virus. Having to quickly make a vaccine for millions of people is time consuming and people won’t receive one in at least a year. When vaccines do come out, you would be able to get them at your local doctor.
