Halloween Carnival

Halloween Carnival

October has finally arrived. That means the air gets colder and we start pulling out the sweaters. This is also the time when the East Career and Technical Academy’s hospitality/marketing seniors come together to put on their annual Nightmare on Hollywood carnival. There will be food, carnival games, trunk-or-treat and our most anticipated event the haunted house! Tickets are only .50 so come quick before they are all gone!

The annual “Haunted on Hollywood” Carnival at ECTA will be held on Wednesday, October 21st, 2015 at 5 to 8 o’clock in the evening. It will be held in the quad and the culinary building, where the haunted house will take place. There will be food with multiple games that when you win, you receive prizes! You receive whatever you have put forth, so it is a win-win situation. The food includes chips, hotdogs, hamburgers along with drinks such as soda. With the Halloween theme, children may receive candies from several teachers.
We asked Terry Alibangbang, who is currently a senior about what he thought about last year’s carnival and he said, “I had a great time. It was nice with the music and chilling with friends. The food was quite delightful, I enjoyed myself. It was also cool running into people from different schools that I didn’t see for a while and how the carnival really brings people back together.”
