More on Australian Fires

Turner, Jasmine

In late October in Australia a lightning strike struck the Gosper Mountains in New South Wales. These Fires have burned 12.35 Million acres of land. This has released 900 million tons of greenhouse gasses which are carbon dioxide and that messes with our oxygen. Greenhouse gasses is what is causing climate change and natural disasters and now that this has released even more into the atmosphere we are gonna need a new plan to try and help reverse climate change, more than just planting more trees. This is also really bad for the people in Australia because it can make it hard for them to breathe the air around them its not good to breathe in burned fumes.
